One of the first movies of Tom Hanks I suppose. I have to admit that I am a fan of his acting and in that movie he is playing really good. The theme of the movie was really something different for that time. Since then we have seen about a million similar movies. A young kid wishes he was older and...one fine morning he wakes up older. You should not be confused. It's not such an incredible plot. It belongs to the movies that I call "Saturday morning movies". However, I don't find that its wasted time to watch it, if you haven't already seen it.
