The River Wild (1994)

I was trapped into watching this movie because of Meryl Streep and Kevin Bacon on the lead roles. A mother, her kid and finally the father want to have a river rafting experience and, as always in such movies, they gladly help the TOTAL strangers go along the river too. You could call this a pure adventure. I have to admit that I was not completely bored during the movie. The landscapes and the direction belong definitely to the plus of the movie. The acting of the two heroes was ok even though their acting ability was not really challenged from the plot. 100 minutes without having to activate my brain at all. Nevertheless, according to time and company it is worth to be watched.
