Robert Zemeckis took the beautiful story of Charles Dickens and turned into an animated film. The scenery of the film is really to the letter a very beautiful transportation from the book to the screen, whereas Jim Carrey gives once more a very good performance in the role of Scrooge even under the mask of animation. I have to admit that I have expected a bit more from this film. In the end I didn't feel that I have received as much as I could. In any case, it is worth watching it, especially during the Christmas time.
