The Godfather Part II (1974)

The second part of the Godfather. For many people this is the best part of the three and I have to admit that Al Pacino is really very good, young Robert de Niro also. I also liked the fact that they are trying to dig into the past of Don Vito Corleone and I liked the way that they presented it. However, I have to say that the plot is becoming more and more confusing. In the end you have to have written down who is with whom and who did what to whom, and this in the huge frame of more than three hours. I am no big mafia-police-thriller expert but I found it a little bit too much. One more thing that I missed was Marlon Brando.
