A lesbian couple (Annette Bening and Julianne Moore) and the sperm donor for their children come to awkward situations when the children get to meet him. The whole film goes on like this and several confusing situations come to test the strength of this "weird" family. The two ladies perform in a very convincing way whereas the rest of the film didn't attract me at all. The direction seems unprofessional throughout the movie and the children don't manage to depict their emotional world in a decent way. A flat film with one or two slightly exciting moments.
