This film narrates the life of a family from Turkey that immigrated to Germany in the middle of the 20th century. Huseyin, the father and grandfather, has really created a big family and announces that he has bought a house in Turkey and needs everyone in the "renovation". It is a very sympathetic film, with several flashbacks, that tries to give an idea - sometimes exaggerated sometimes not - about the difficulties that came up to the fresh immigrants of that time. The big cultural shock and the hard separation from the homeland as well as the value of the family are the most important topics that are touched. Very touching in the end. Recommended!
