The film, that originally comes from a book, tells the story of a girl that had to move to the jungle of West Papua with her family to find out that this environment was the one 100 % appropriate for her. The rest of the story is more or less common without very big surprises for the spectator. It is a true story. Sabine Kuegler is the Dschungelkind and wrote the book about her experiences in the jungle, whereas Roland Suso Richter is responsible for the direction of this film. Not dying for it!
