Christiane F. Wir Kinder von Bahnhof Zoo (1981)

This is another film about young children with loose family bonds and the effect heroin had on them in the late 70s or so. This whole story takes place in Berlin and is described from a kid who went through it twice, rehabilitated twice and lived finally to talk about it. The strong thing of the movie is the realistic picture of the whole heroin use which in the end becomes relatively boring. After this movie, a lot of films have narrated the whole issue in a much better and more convincing way, but one should admit that it is a little bit innovative for the time is was made. One more advantage of the movie is the music of David Bowie during almost half of the movie as well as his performance for a little while.
